Smooth, fuss-free hair removal in a relaxed and friendly setting. We know waxing isn't everyone's favourite thing, so we work quickly and carefully to keep you as comfortable as possible, and you'll never feel awkward with us.
Face and body waxing
We offer upper lip and chin waxing for a quick tidy-up, plus underarm, bikini, half leg and full leg waxing for smooth skin that lasts for weeks rather than days.
Before your appointment
Please stop using retinol, retinoids and other active skincare, such as AHAs, BHAs, vitamin C and exfoliating products, on the area to be waxed for at least a week before your appointment. These products make the skin more delicate, so waxing over them can leave it sore, red or even lift the skin. If you're taking, or have recently finished, prescription acne medication such as Roaccutane, please speak to us before booking, as waxing won't be suitable for a while afterwards.
Aftercare
For the first 24 to 48 hours after waxing, avoid hot baths, saunas, sunbeds and exfoliating the area. After that, gentle exfoliation a couple of times a week helps keep ingrown hairs at bay.
How long does waxing last?
Because waxing removes hair from the root, results usually last around three to five weeks, depending on the area and how quickly your hair grows. With regular waxing, many clients find their regrowth becomes finer and softer over time, and that appointments feel more comfortable the more often they come.
First time having a wax?
Please don't worry, we'll make sure you feel at ease from start to finish. For the best results, let your hair grow to around the length of a grain of rice (roughly 5mm) before your appointment, as hair that's too short won't grip the wax properly. Try not to shave in between appointments, wear comfortable, loose clothing, and make sure your skin is clean and free from lotions or oils on the day.
