When to book your beauty treatments for Christmas

I have to say I'm already loving this time of year! Apart from the fact I'm freezing and giving the house a cheeky heating boost a couple of hours a day 🥶, the autumn festivities have well and truly begun. We've done Tulleys Farm, and this weekend we went to our first firework show of the year, Seaford bonfire. We go every year. We get the bus with the kids and have dinner at a local pub, and while the kids get excited for the procession and fireworks, us adults enjoy a bottle of wine and a good catch up 🍷

Now, I know it's only October, so please don't hate me, but I've got to mention the C word 🙈 The timings for Christmas treatments work out so well if you start now, so here's how I'd plan it.

Planning your lashes and brows

A Korean Lash Lift lasts six to eight weeks, so with a bit of planning you can have gorgeous lashes from now right through to New Year. Here's how I'd do it:

  • By 26th October: your Korean Lash Lift & Tint
  • 4 weeks later (late November): a lash lift maintenance appointment. This is a tint and conditioning treatment to keep your lashes dark, healthy and looking fresh
  • Early to mid December: your next Korean Lash Lift & Tint, which will see you through Christmas, New Year's Eve and well into January

If you're starting a little later, one lash lift in early to mid December will still cover you for Christmas and New Year.

Brow lamination lasts six to eight weeks too, so you can book your brows alongside your lashes and keep them on the same timings.

Just remember that all lash and tinting treatments need a patch test at least 24 hours before your appointment.

Why it's worth starting your skin course now

Skin boosters and polynucleotides are my favourites for that fresh, glowy, well rested look. You'll start to see a difference after your first session, and your skin keeps improving with each one after that. Sessions are 4 weeks apart, so the earlier you start, the more glowy you'll be by Christmas.

  • Polynucleotides (course of 3): start by 26th October, so your second session is in late November and your third is the week before Christmas
  • Seventy Hyal skin booster (course of 3): start by 26th October, on the same timings as polynucleotides
  • Profhilo (course of 2): start by mid November, so your second session is done by mid December

If you're starting later than this, it's still worth it, because you'll see results from your first session and carry on with your course into the new year.

Every aesthetic treatment starts with a consultation, so we'll chat through what's right for your skin first.

If you've got a party coming up, the Cinderella Facial (also called the Black Tie Facial) gives you an instant glow that lasts up to 48 hours, so it's perfect for the day before or the day of your night out.
